Candle Light Walk for Justice and Peace

Australians can show their support for a Treaty with Indigenous people and end Genocide.

Candles will be lit for justice and peace advocating an Indigenous Treaty via a Bill of Rights on the first Friday of each month (except January/February which are combined into the 26 January walk). Walkers meet with candles after gathering just before sunset at Government House.

The walk aims to protect and defend Ngarrindjeri and other Indigenous culture, spiritual beliefs, lands and waters. To stop any nuclear waste dump on traditional lands, from affecting the community and Indigenous environment.
